INSURANCE and PAYMENT INFORMATION

Insurance

We are considered an "out of network" provider.  What that means is that we do not process insurance claims - but that doesn't mean you can't get reimbursed.   

 

If your health plan covers out of network providers for mental health services (including depression treatment, anxiety treatment, and couples counseling), complete your insurance claim form (you can usually get them on your insurance carrier's website) and submit it along with the invoice we will provide you after your session to get reimbursed.

Your insurance company may reimburse you for all or part of the fee and what you pay can go towards your deductible.  Contact your carrier directly for more information on how to get reimbursed and applying the fee to your deductible.

If you are unsure about your health plan's claim procedures for out of network providers, contact your insurance company.

Payment Options

Great Lakes Counseling Group accepts credit cards, cash, and checks.  Payment is required at the time of service. Each session is 60 minutes and the fee is $160.00 per session.  You can also pay for your session ahead of time via our secure HIPAA-compliant website. 

 

When you schedule your first appointment you will be emailed a link to register as a client with Great Lakes Counseling Group.  You will receive intake documents, set contact and reminder preferences, send and receive private messages, and enter your payment information.

Once you are an established client, you can schedule, cancel, and reschedule appointments anytime through the HIPAA-compliant client portal.
